SOMIRENEC is a registered Non – Governmental Organization (NGO) under Section 10 of the NGO Act, Laws of Kenya (1990). The organization aims at providing both educational and developmental outreach platforms for spearheading knowledge and skills to the communities and transforming them into sustainable livelihood initiatives through research and networking. These structures provide essential oversight and proper use of all its resources and programmes including policy direction.
SOMIRENEC envisages Africans; children, men, women and youth without any form of discrimination and becoming protagonists of their own history and subjects of their own destiny based on the Constitution of Kenya 2010, Vision 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
