The international health cooperation mission in Kenya took place from the 20th February – 3rd March 2023 in Barpello, East Pokot County, led by Acquifera Aps, Ausl Tuscany Centro and the local partner Somirenec NGO. The project is funded by the Tuscany Region and supported by the Global Health Center with an aim to improve maternal and child health and access to water in the Barpello pokot community.
In this regard, on the 24th February 2023, Acquifera APS in partnership with SOMIRENEC held a Training for the East Pokot Medical staffs on Maternal Health Care and Sanitation. The training aimed to equip them with skills for efficiency and effectiveness in provision of Maternal Care before ,during and after delivery.
