SOMIRENEC continues to partner with community Radio stations in Isiolo County so as to disseminate Peace and Early warning information for enhanced peace education programs through the Radio.
In this regard, Somirenec held a successful live radio Programme with Engaff Community Radio. The aim of the radio program was to educate the community on the value of Peace Building through Shepherd Schools, create awareness on advocacy messaging for peaceful coexistence and the need to maintaining security throughout the coming festive season.
Guest speakers present were the Inspector of Police Mr Julius Mutambari – Coordinator PEACE COP, #Isiolo County, Madam Joyceline Gakii – Director Adult Learning Department for Isiolo County and Mr. Elisha Khasia- Peace Coordinator, SOMIRENEC.
