SOMIRENEC under Ustahimilivu project funded by the European Union held community peace dialogues at Kour (Kassei), Sarmach (Porkoyo) and Lomut in West Pokot County. These aimed at building the capacity of communities to understand conflicts and identify early warning signs of conflicts in order to help the authorities in pro-actively prevent the conflicts before they erupt.
