SOMIRENEC in collaboration with Assistant County Commissioner Pokot Central – Sekerot Location, Amoler Sub-location in West Pokot County, held a successful community policing meeting. This is as a response to the ongoing tension between the Marakwet and Pokot Communities. Present were Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU) and Anti-Stock theft Unit (ASTU) police units from Turkana County.
