Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being at all ages is essential for sustainable development. provision of good and equitable health care services has being a major challenge to developing countries, especially in the informal settlement areas. Somirenec through the Education program, in partnership with St. Mary’s Mission Hospital (Langata) conducted a School Health Program at St. Stephen Preparatory School in Dagoretti Corner. The Slum Education program has enabled children from vulnerable families in the informal settlements of Kibera and Dagoretti corner to access quality education and complete their primary education through provision of learning materials in the 3 schools respectively.
