SOMIRENEC in collaboration with Kinna Division Security Team conducted community peace building forum with community representatives from Kubisera, Jill Dima, Kinna North, Kinna South and Rapsu. The forum aimed at strengthening community peace building strategies to address the growing challenges of drought induced conflicts. Elders from both communities resolved to work closely with the Division Security teams through the coordination off Assistant County Commissioner (ACC) and Officer Commanding Station (OCS) for conflict monitoring, reporting and early warning information sharing to overt conflict and crime in their respective communities.
